DAY OF OPEN ROADS
“Day of Open Roads” is a celebration for the whole family, featuring creative workshops, lectures and quizzes. The main event will be a dynamic display of railway equipment. For the first time, residents and guests of St. Petersburg will be able to see legendary historic locomotives in motion! The display will feature an operating 19th-century steam locomotive of the “Soft Sign” series, the unique “Ovechka” locomotive built in 1905, the “Felix Dzerzhinsky”, the SO-18 “Sergo Ordzhonikidze”, the famous L-series “Lebedyanka” steam locomotive, the P36 passenger steam locomotive, and the ChS6 — the most powerful passenger electric locomotive in the world at the time of its production.
