The research and production corporation United Wagon Company is a leading manufacturer of innovative rolling stock in the 1520 space. The UWC product line includes more than 70 models of next-generation freight wagons characterized by increased load capacity, increased overhaul mileage and reduced maintenance costs. The capacity of the Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant, holding's main industrial site, allows for the annual production of up to 20 thousand of freight cars. The holding's own engineering center develops new wagons and their key components, owns more than 950 patents in Russia and abroad. Warranty and post-warranty maintenance of UWC freight cars is carried out in authorized service centers throughout the entire railway network.
